Problems Hyperfence solves

We’re building to keep your AI interactions safe. Whether that’s at work, on the front of your website, or anywhere else your organisation puts AI in front of people. Here are some of the problems we see most often, and how we solve them.

Every reply is something your organisation is on record as having said. What if it recommends a competitor or creates a new refund policy? Hyperfence checks each response against your approved subjects as it’s generated, swapping anything off-topic for a refusal.

  • Brand-safety
  • Security

Available on paid tiers.

Hyperfence applies topic boundaries so spend stays on business use. Off-topic requests are declined before they reach the model, saving tokens whilst adding almost zero latency. Different teams can run different rules from one installation.

  • Cost-control
  • Efficiency

Available on paid tiers.

Hyperfence inspects requests before they’re forwarded, so a potential breach is prevented before it reaches the third party AI. Inspection between you and the third party, and can be taught the subjects that are actually sensitive to you. For example, a live matter or an internal codename, not just a string that looks like a card number.

  • Data-leakage
  • Security
  • Compliance

Available on paid tiers.

One deployment, different rules for different age bands. The policy travels with the API token, so a child’s session and an adult’s session are governed differently without separate infrastructure. There’s no phrasing that could turn it off.

  • Child-safety
  • Compliance

Available on free and paid tiers.

If your product is public and at all interesting, some proportion of your users are likely trying to abuse it. They are trying to make it say something they can screenshot or get information they shouldn’t. Hyperfence checks both sides of the conversation: incoming requests for manipulation, and every reply against your policy before anyone sees it. The policy sits on your API token, not in the conversation, so there’s nothing a user can type to disable it.

  • Brand-safety

The moment your AI browses a web page, opens an uploaded document, searches a knowledge base or calls a tool that returns text, content you did not write is reaching your model. Anything that reaches a model can contain instructions, and a model has no reliable way to distinguish a document describing an instruction from a user issuing one.

Hyperfence inspects that content on the way in, the gap most deployments leave open, and checks the reply again on the way out.

Each decision counted and attributed to the rule that made it, giving you a report ready the moment someone asks. Demonstrable safety and compliance.
